Memorama

This was a fairly large project for just one person. (Yes, me). I designed a completely custom database in mysql, along with a php class to interface with it. That was then paired to a very sophisticated, responsive front end that featured a complex javascript app for pulling photos from the server and flipping through them. That was one half of the project; the other half consisted of several outdoor cameras uploading photos to the ftp, where a cron job scraped them from the upload directory, manipulated them, and stored them in the database. We had 4 concurrent connections, all uploading photos. I made the php framework which managed all this -- and it was rock-solid, gathering over 300,000 photos and managing them. MediaTemple probably hated us because we literally pounded their server for 3 months straight.
